Shame Around Not Enough

In a lot of spiritual circles I know, shame isn’t really talked about. We talk about fear. According to David Hawkins, when we are in the shame consciousness, our life view is miserable and the emotion is humiliation. Wow!!!!!

That is powerful energy you are bringing to your life and your relationship with money. So if you transform that just a little, that would change your entire life. See, most people think that they need to move from lack consciousness to a consciousness of total abundance and prosperity…all you “need” to do is move the scale a little, and that will impact your life … from there, you can decide the next level of consciousness you would like to move into…

So today’s exercise is going to help you move from shame to courage. Here’s what happens in the consciousness of courage, according to David Hawkins: “…power first appears. Courage is the zone of exploration, accomplishment, fortitude and determination…life is seen to be exciting, challenging and stimulating.”

That sounds much better than shame to me…David says this about shame: “failure to take steps to prolong life. In shame we hang our heads and slink away, wishing that we were invisible…”
